"Grow" at home - Revealed Week 5

We’re wrapping up our current series this week! It’s been a good one. Finish strong this week!

WEEK 5 BIG IDEA: God made me to do great things.

You’ll see that we have different lessons for our Toddler / PreK aged kids and for our elementary kids. BUT THE BIBLE STORY & MEMORY WORK IS THE SAME! If you have multiple kids in different age group you can read the Bible story and practice memory work as a family and then let your kids watch the videos and do the activities that are appropriate for their age group. We’ve done our best to convert our regular Sunday lessons into someone you can do at home. My goal is to give you MORE than you need! This was if you are in need of things to keep your kids busy, you’ve got. But PLEASE don’t add any more stress to your life by trying to do it all! Do what makes sense for your family!

Do the Basics :

  • Watch the videos

  • Read the Bible passage as a family

  • Practice the memory work

  • Anything else you can do is icing on the cake!

TIP:: Just like some of Jesus’ audience was confused by His parables, kids are going to ask tough questions about God sometimes. When they do, don’t be scared! These questions are so vital and good! Encourage their curiosity and remember this:

Stuck as Home?

Quarantine - Day 163 . . . or 94 . . . 7 . . .I don’t even know. What I DO know is that NO ONE has all the answers for how to make time locked down in your house with your whole family easy. Especially when work, school, chores, meals, etc all need to still happen. Each day I get dozens of ideas put in front of me for what I can do with my kids - Instagram, emails, Facebook, texts from friends … To be honest, I can’t keep track of all the stuff I can be doing with them, cuz “where the heck did that post about virtual museum trips go?”

Well, in a sorta-kinda self-serving move I’m going to try to compile all that great stuff for you, and me, here! From virtual field trips, to books on tape, to free subscriptions to pass the time, and where you can find chicken breasts and toilette paper - I’m going to do my best! If YOU have found something that works for your family please email it to me at melissa@restoreworship.org and I’ll include it in our list.

As I find more cool stuff I’ll add it here. So bookmark this page for your one stop shop for do at home resources
